‘We’ and ‘us’ refers to the West of England AHSN
‘You’ refers to any person registered on hyvr and / or the Innovation Exchange websites located on the following URLs:
Section 1: Intellectual property and copyright
By using hyvr and / or the Innovation Exchange you agree to respect all copyright and not to change or create derivative works of the platforms.
You also agree that you will not post copyrighted material that you do not own or do not have express permission to use. Your contributions on hyvr and the Innovation Exchange will not contain third-party copyrighted material, or material that is subject to other third-party proprietary rights, unless you have permission from the owner.
You are responsible for information you post on hyvr and the Innovation Exchange and all information posted is the sole responsibility of the person from whom the information originated.
Section 2: Information you share will be accessible to other users
hyvr and the Innovation Exchange are public platforms and as such you are responsible for the information you choose to share with other users.
We therefore ask you to think carefully about the information you choose to publish as we do not control what users use the information you share for.
We won’t share or sell your information to third parties without your consent and we won’t use your data for analytical purposes that identify an individual.
Please note we reserve the right to share personal data when there is a legal obligation to do so, or where there is a serious concern over an individual’s welfare.
Section 3a: Organisation approval
hyvr and the Innovation Exchange enable users to register organisations, e.g. an innovator business. All organisation registrations are subject to review and approval by us and in registering an organisation you consent to being contacted in accord with the processing of the registration.
Section 3b: Event Approval
hyvr and the Innovation Exchange enable users to display innovation-related events. All events submitted on hyvr and the Innovation Exchange are subject to review and approval by us and in submitting an event you consent to being contacted in accord with the processing of the registration.
Section 4: Notifications
hyvr users may be sent newsletters and invited to take part in polls and surveys based on their activity and interests within the hyvr website. hyvr users may also receive regular notifications based on their contributions and the contributions of other hyvr users.
hyvr enables users to easily change their newsletter and notification preferences via the Preferences tab within the Profile settings.
Section 5: Reporting concerns & prevention of abuse
We want hyvr and the Innovation Exchange websites to be friendly, accessible and inclusive spaces where users feel welcome to make contributions.
hyvr is not for use as a sales vehicle and sales and marketing posts are not permitted.
hyvr users are encouraged to report any abuse or concerns they encounter via the quick access menu option on every content window for follow-up by the hyvr Support Team at the West of England AHSN, who will take appropriate action. See below for contacting the hyvr Support Team.
We reserve the right to remove content that is deemed to be abusive, of a sales and marketing nature, in breach of copyright or likely to cause offence. We will also report any fraudulent or illegal activities to relevant authorities.
We may suspend or remove your account for breaches of these terms. We may also suspend or remove your account if required to do so by law.
Section 6: Future changes to hyvr and the Innovation Exchange
hyvr and the Innovation Exchange are evolving and innovative platforms. Additional features may be implemented and others removed over the course of platform development. As a result, we may need to update these Terms from time to time to accurately reflect changes to these websites. When we do, we will contact you using your registered email address. If you continue to access or use hyvr and the Innovation Exchange after notified changes have come into effect, you will have agreed to the revised policy.
If you are using hyvr and / or the Innovation Exchange as a free platform, please be aware that they are not offered with a minimum term and we reserve the right to shutdown hyvr and the Innovation Exchange with loss of all data at any time without notice.
Section 7: Contacting the hyvr Support Team
The hyvr Support Team are contactable by email at email@example.com. During Monday to Friday (except public holidays) between the hours of 9am and 5pm, they will endeavour to respond to queries within 2 working days. Issues that cannot be resolved within the frontline hyvr Support Team will be escalated to management level within 2 days and then to the West of England AHSN Senior Executive Team within a further 1 day if necessary.

Section 8 Contact for the Innovation Exchange
The contact email address for queries relating to the Innovation Exchange is firstname.lastname@example.org. This email inbox is monitored by staff from West of England AHSN on Monday to Friday (except public holidays) between the hours of 9am and 5pm. They will endeavour to respond to queries within 2 working days. Issues that cannot be resolved will be passed to the hyvr Support Team, who operate within the timescales noted in the section above.
