Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) are member led organisations within the NHS. There are 15 AHSNs in England, and they were created in 2013 with the aim of bringing together health services, academia and industry to promote and support innovation to improve patient outcomes and generate economic benefits. We cover the Isles of Scilly, Cornwall, Devon and Somerset.
The South West Academic Health Science Network (SW AHSN) works to improve the health and patient experience of people in the South West by supporting and accelerating innovation and quality improvement.
