Cheryl Scott, Industry and Innovation Lead - Senior Programme Manager

Are you a healthcare innovator/entrepreneur with a new or existing innovation that could support the NHS in its commitment to reducing health inequalities? Apply for one of five places on our new West of England Closing the Health Gap Programme to receive fully funded expertise, product development and business value proposition support from the Health Technology Hub and the West of England Academic Health Science Network (AHSN).

Suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurs with new or existing innovations that support – or have the potential to support – the NHS in its commitment to reducing health inequalities.

This can include companies that are already based in, or are working with, an NHS organisation in the West of England, region. The programme may be particularly beneficial to those innovators who are currently “stuck” with a certain aspect of product development and who would benefit from a helping hand.

Run in partnership with the Health Technology Hub based at the University of the West of England, the programme’s support package will include technical product development support from specialist scientists and engineers, and access to state-of-the-art facilities within the Health Technology Hub, combined with expert knowledge of the NHS as a marketplace and business value proposition support, delivered by the AHSN.

The deadline for applications to the programme is 5pm, Friday 25 November 2022.
