About the Innovation Exchange

The Innovation Exchange web portal provides access to all of our business services in one place, helping to connect the local innovation ecosystem and provide the support you need at any stage of your innovation.

Through this Innovation Exchange web portal you can access:

  • a directory of business services and facilities (coming soon!)
  • local and national opportunities for funding
  • hyvr – our social media platform for healthcare
  • business development programmes and a range of business services (coming soon!)
  • online tool kits and resources (coming soon!)
  • information on our strategic partners and services they provide to help you.

As a business you can register on our directory (coming soon!) for free , so potential collaborators can easily find you and each other.  We’d also recommend you register on hyvr to have a business presence there too.  Our registration process enables you to register on both the Innovation Exchange and hyvr at the same time. It will use the same information you provide and will be set up under the same login details

The portal is part of a wide range of support offered by West of England AHSN  for anyone developing innovations for the healthcare sector. We help innovators take the next step to having their ideas widely adopted. This help in building an evidence, advice on business practices or making introductions to commissioners.. To do this we form close links between industry, academia and the NHS through our extensive network across the region. The focus of our work with you is to accelerate the generation and adoption of new innovations to deliver leading-edge healthcare in the West of England and beyond.

The Innovation Pathway highlights the areas where West of England AHSN can offer assistance, advice and guidance for innovators.

In addition to the resources on the portal we also bespoke support to business. Our team will conduct an initial assessment of your product or service and provide advice on where the opportunities for your solution exist and the best people to connect with, drawing on our networks. The diagram below gives an idea of the type of support they offer, you can find out more here
